Grassy Creek Elementary

Good evening Prospector families! This is Mrs. Merchant, proud principal at The Creek. We are excited for transition weekend! Starting on Tuesday, students will return in-person to Grassy Creek unless enrolled in the Virtual Learning Academy. The sounds of voices in the halls, kids playing at recess, and learning together again have been missed greatly in our school. Rest up over this long weekend because we have lots of work to do next week!

As mentioned, this is a 3-day weekend. We do not have school on Monday in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Check our resources in our Nugget to learn more about the civil rights movement and social justice today.

Beginning next week, our Tuesday and Friday meal distribution will take place at Raymond Park Intermediate Middle School, Warren Central High School, and Moorhead Community Resource Center. The hours are 4-6pm.

Don't forget to charge those devices, pack up those materials for return, wash those masks, and wear a heavy coat to school on Tuesday. We can't wait to see you soon!
