Thank you for a great start to the 2nd semester!  We are excited to see the amazing things our children do this winter and spring.  As a reminder, we have 1 week left of all students learning virtually and then, on Tuesday, January 19th, we will resume our in-person learning.  If you requested to change your child's learning environment, please expect a call from their new teacher next week.  All students learning in-person will return to class at Grassy Creek on the 19th and all students working in the virtual learning academy will continue online.  Questions?  Call our front office at 317-532-3100 for assistance.

WIDA testing will begin on Monday, January 11, 2021 for all identified English Learner students. Kindergarten families will be contacted to bring their students into school for testing during the week of January 11, 2021.  1st - 4th students will begin testing the week of January 18th when they return to in-person instruction.  If your child’s learning environment is virtual, you will be contacted to arrange a date for testing.  You can bring your child to school on their designated testing date or we can arrange transportation.  Please complete this form if your child will require transportation.  Please note that if your child will be using bus transportation, they will remain at school for the entire day.  If you have questions, please contact Kristi Hill, EL teacher, at khill5@warren.k12.in.us.

Just a reminder that  our food distributions are back on Tuesdays and Fridays from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Moorhead Community Resource Center, Warren Central High School, Creston, Raymond Park, and Stonybrook Intermediate Middle Schools. If you have needs beyond what is being offered, you can call our outreach hotline at 317-608-0545 or email at MSDWarrenOutreach@warren.k12.in.us with your request.

We have lots of great information in this week's school newsletter.  Check out the Nugget HERE.

Thank you for making each day the best day of learning.  We are excited to see students in our classrooms again soon.  Until then, stay healthy and safe!
