Once again, our students and staff did amazing work together, this time through virtual learning. Between the many lessons, zoom meetings, Canvas activities, and communications you stepped up and deserve a round of applause! I am so proud of you!
As a reminder, to be counted present for the day you must attend the morning and afternoon zoom meetings with your teacher. Families, if this is a struggle due to connectivity, we still have hot spots available at no cost to you to support internet needs at home. Just call our front office at 317-532-3100 for help.
While we are learning virtually, we will likely have questions or need support at some point. When that happens, contact your teacher first through phone, email, classDOJO, or Canvas. As a 2nd contact, you can call me or Ms. Hardin at 317-532-3100. We also have a great webpage on the district website with loads of resources. You can find that information at www.warren.k12.in.us. Click on EXPLORE, then CORONAVIRUS, and then RESOURCES FOR TRANSITION TO VIRTUAL.
Don't forget there is food distribution every Tuesday and Friday from 4-6pm with breakfast, lunch, and supper included. Check out this week's Nugget for locations. You can find the Nugget here.
Also in the Nugget are some great resources for families regarding social justice topics. As a school we are starting these conversations with students at age-appropriate levels to build a foundation for future leaders. It is important that we all work together now so our children have the future they all deserve tomorrow.
We can't wait to see the amazing things you do next week during virtual learning. Stay healthy and we'll see you Monday, ready to work and ready to learn!
