As you've learned, MSD Warren Township will move to virtual learning for all in-person students starting November 23rd in response to the Marion County Public Health Department mandates.  For our students already learning online through our virtual learning academy, you will have no changes to your routines.  The following information is for in-person families who are going virtual.

Your Grassy Creek staff is working hard to prepare students for the coming virtual window that in-person students will use starting November 23rd.  In preparation, ALL IPADS were sent home tonight (Friday, November 13th) with chargers and cords.  Please charge those over the weekend.  ALL IPADS should come back to school each day next week as we will use them to help student practice with CANVAS and accessing various learning apps to be used during virtual learning.  CANVAS will be our main resource to engage with students and ZOOM will be our primary connection tool for live class.

Next week we will send home textbooks and workbooks needed to support virtual learning at home.  These are part of your book rental and will be very helpful during class time.  Please make sure your child has a safe place to keep these materials.  When we return to in-person learning, these items will come back to school to be used in the classroom.

Schedules and routines are in the works for each grade level.  Please expect more information from your child's classroom teacher and I next week.  If you have questions, reach out to your child’s teacher.  I can also be reached at 317-532-3101 or via Class DOJO.

This is quick.  As a fellow Warren parent, I'm working out kinks and arrangements for my children, too.  We are all in this together and we WILL make the best of this!  Through engagement and connection, we can make the most of this virtual learning window.
