Girls Tennis Starts a Tough Week With a Win Over Greenfield-Central

Girls Tennis starts a tough week with a win over Greenfield-Central. Last year Warren struggled to win at all positions, but this year was a different story.  Warren captured its first point when first singles Junior Tia Hague won 6-1, 6-0. Warren then quickly secured the match with 2nd Singles Madelyn Oconitrillo winning easily 6-1, 6-1.  3rd Singles Alexis Moments struggled in her first set to find her rhythm, but rallied to win the set, 6-4, then quickly won the second set, 6-1. The Lady Warrior are working through a doubles switch up with senior Ashley Jarels being out.  2nd doubles struggled to find their game and were defeated, 2-6, 0-6.  1st doubles lost their first set, but played extremely well against a determined Greenfield-Central team. Despite all their efforts, Kelli Rivers and Morgan Oconitrillo were defeated 1-6,4-6.

Next up:  Warren will travel to Ben Davis. Warren is currently undefeated in the conference and will look to improve to 4-2 on the season and 1-1 in their conference. The Lady Warriors finish off the week with Lutheran on Wednesday.  Come out to support your Lady Warriors as they continue their outstanding season and our 6 seniors as they embark on their final season as Lady Warriors.
