Grassy Creek Do Dads and PTA sponsored a Hawaiian themed father/daughter dance this past Friday evening. Fathers and daughters enjoyed an evening of food, music, pictures and a lot of fun! We want to thank our Do Dads, PTA and staff who made this event a memorable one for our students.

For students, one of the College and Career Ready standards’ most important new requirements is that correct answers alone will not be enough. Correct answers are very important, but along with them there is a new set of “mathematical practices” that teachers will expect from students. This is part of their preparation for 21st century jobs. More information>>>.
You are invited to be a PAC Parent!
Does your child ever take too much time to do homework… need an extra boost of self-esteem…use social media…or choose not to follow your directions? As a parent, do you ever feel like you could use some support from other parents who have the same concerns with their children as you? If so, you are encouraged to register for our upcoming PAC (Parents are the Core) sessions. Throughout the school year, five sessions will be offered for parents. The sessions will be held from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at school throughout the school year. Contact the school office to register for a session.
We are up to 5,000,000 plus 101 gallons of tabs toward our goal of 6,000,000 tabs. In order to meet our goal, we need 157 more gallons of tabs. (258 gallons = 1,000,000 tabs) The profit from the tabs helps support our Indianapolis Ronald McDonald House. The mission of the Ronald McDonald House is to provide a supportive home-away-from-home for families of seriously ill or injured children receiving medical treatments at Indianapolis-area hospitals, primarily Riley Hospital for Children. While you are enjoying your next soda, please consider helping us help others. Remember to “Pop Your Top!”
